Problem
In order to meet HIPPA requirements, a multi-hospital health care provider needed to significantly improve its backup and disaster recovery systems.

Solution
Compsat Technology installed an enterprise-level backup solution that worked in a storage area network (SAN) environment and enabled the institution to use cross-site vaulting between two of their own facilities. This customized solution not only gave the client quicker access to data and reduced data backup costs, but also allowed them to meet HIPPA requirements without having to rely on vaulting from an outside vendor.
